Nathan Spies is an award-winning industrial designer who focuses on creating objects and spaces that extend beyond basic function to evoke meaningful experiences. After developing a hands-on design approach at Sheridan College’s noted Craft and Design program, he moved to Milan to gain experience from Toan Nguyen. By working with designer brands such as Fendi Casa, Karl Lagerfeld Maison, District Eight, and many more, he honed in on his form-centered design approach. Nathan’s simple, unique designs encourage people to enjoy their use for many years rather than see them as a momentary possession.
